Jacklyn Mitchell Wynn, is the Vice President, Strategic Programs for the Federal Health division. In this role, she helps to build GDIT’s capabilities and market brand by being actively involved in building innovative solutions and bringing entrepreneurial and agile solutions across federal health agencies, including military health to help connect and solve complex healthcare industry, functional and technical challenges.

Previously, she was a vice president in the Center for Enterprise Modernization (CEM) at The MITRE Corporation, leading the organization’s work in support of the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). CEM is one of seven federally funded research and development centers that MITRE operates for the U.S. government. She worked collaboratively across MITRE’s capability portfolios, including healthcare, big data analytics, systems engineering, and cybersecurity programs in support of the VA’s mission for delivery of comprehensive healthcare services to deliver impactful and fiscal outcomes.

Jacklyn joined MITRE from RSA, the security division of Dell Technologies, where she was vice president for Strategy and Market Development, Global Public Sector. She was responsible for developing and executing integrated cyber programs for state and local agencies, including the development of distributed partnerships and working with NIST. Jacklyn also held executive leadership positions at Dell EMC as vice president of Global Residency Practice, and at Hewlett-Packard, where she was vice president for Global Business Operations and Consulting and Technical Support Services overseeing a P&L of $3B.

Prior to her global roles, Jacklyn spent over 15 years in executive leadership positions overseeing the public sector technology and consulting services divisions of several technology companies such as Digital, Compaq, and Hewlett-Packard. Jacklyn supported the complex and large-scale optimization of these Information Technology companies’ modernization efforts due to mergers and consolidations, and this gave her a unique perspective across change management, governance, strategy, and implementation outcome areas.

She has earned recognition for her leadership as an advocate for community service and education programs for youth, with a strong focus on the science, technology, engineering, and math fields. Jacklyn serves on the executive board of the nonprofit National Center for Children and Families, which works to advance policies, education, and development in support of homeless children and their families through community engagement and training, volunteerism, and social advocacy. She has also served on the Howard University Industrial Advisory Board, as well as on the boards of the Association for Minorities in Engineering and the Black Data Processors Association, which honored her with the Epsilon Award for Career Achievement. She is a founding member of the Strategy Board for the International Consortium of Minority Cyber Professionals. She is also on the board of Georgetown Preparatory School, the nation’s oldest Jesuit high school.

Jacklyn has received the Federal 100 Achievement Award, the Women in Technology Distinguished Achiever Award, and the Women of Color in Technology Distinguished Achiever Award. She was also named among the Top 100 Executives by Uptown Professional/NAACP and the Top 100 Blacks in Corporate America.

She holds bachelor’s degrees with honors in economics and mathematics from the University of Denver and an MBA in finance and accounting from the Simon Graduate School of Business at the University of Rochester. Jacklyn also has participated in executive leadership programs at Babson College, the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania, and the Anderson School of Business at the University of California Los Angeles.
